FTC’s Center | A Wonderful Place To Learn French in Paris

FTC Paris sits in HQ Coworking, in Montparnasse, one of the most entertaining place. In addition to enjoying a pleasant working and living environment in the heart of Paris, you’ll have the chance to meet and exchange ideas with French workers.

Learn French in a warm and stimulating environment. We do our utmost to create an atmosphere conducive to your personal development. All our classrooms have natural light and ergonomic chairs and tables.

Convivial | Practical

Spaces

Enjoy our friendly and comfortable living spaces. We offer you places to relax, where you can meet French students! Exchange your reflexions, questions, in French, with ease and empathie.

The neighborhood

The school is located just a stone’s throw from the famous Rue Daguerre, a pedestrian street known for its quality boutiques and typically Parisian environment.

Arts and culture

Less than 10 minutes walk from the school, you can visit the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, the Institut Giacometti and the Observatoire de Paris. For lovers of historical figures, the Montparnasse cemetery is just 5 minutes away, where you can visit the graves of Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre and Jacques Chirac.

If you’re a theater-lover, rue de la Gaité is just a few minutes from the school, with famous Parisian theaters like Bobinothéâtre de la Gaité – Montparnasse and théâtre Montparnasse & Petit Montparnasse! If you’re more of a cinema buff, you’ll also find plenty to choose from: the 16-screen Pathé Parnasse, the UGC Montparnasse and UGC Rotonde, the MK2 and the Lucernaire .

Relaxing

As well as the bars on rue Daguerre, rue de la Gaité is just a few minutes’ walk away, with its many bars and restaurants where you can relax. Boulevard Edgar Quinet also offers a number of cosy bars.

Parks and Gardens

Unfortunately, Paris isn’t exactly known for its green spaces, which are still all too rare these days. However, if you’re looking for a quiet place to eat your lunch, the Square de l’Aspirant Dunant is the place for you! It’s also lively on market days (a good opportunity to immerse yourself in Parisian life).

You can also think bigger. The Luxembourg Gardens are a 20-minute walk away, or one RER B station away (Port Royal). And if you want to see even further afield (plan a day trip!) from the Denfert-Rochereau RER station, you can visit the Domaine de Sceaux, Colbert’s former home, and home to the Musée de l’Ile-de-France, which is free to enter.
